Thanks to everyone who came along to Campbell Park on 1-2 July 2017 to support the Art in the Park Festival - everyone of you played a part in the events success!
Now in its ninth year we were delighted to see 14,000 festival goers enjoying our programme of cultural music, visual arts and carnival entertainment alongside the Theatre Kitchen stage which hosted live demonstrations and contests.
The festival burst to life with a vibrant Parade of Colours, featuring a street festival troupe of performers from local schools, London's Kinetika Bloco, MK Dhol Band, Wolverton Samba Band alongside a number of Syrian artists.
As Founder Anouar Kassim MBE, reflected on the event he said: “I’ve been running the festival for over 9 years now and the multi-cultural arts that we are promoting and engaging with in Milton Keynes is the bedrock of building diverse communities, giving them the tools to flourish and feel welcome in Britain today,”
Here are the first few images from this year's festival captured by Emily Stevens and Hannah Connolly, both photographers from MK College.
